Hank,

We really did that ??? !!!! Man, we were something. I can still remember one of the flights when two F-105s from Homestead came roaring vertically across the front of our nose. they were probably 1/4 mile away, but that was sure close enough for me. I can imagine those pilots were laughing their asses off all the way to 35K.

Thanks for the photos Hank. That was the early 1970s as I remember. hell I was 1/2 as old as I am now back then ( I hit 84 in December). Never was quite sure that that Cessna was going to hang around long enough at 13,000 feet to get the job done. Satellite images I've seen since then could make these in about 2 seconds or so, and be ten times as sharp. Not near as much fun.
